Technically Spilling All My Beauty
Today's spill is all about embracing your inner geek.
I am a sucker for new techie toys as much as I am a sucker for new products at Sephora. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depends on which one makes me feel better about myself at a faster Kbps. My purse is always a true notion to all my favorite toys be it a new lipstick or a new laptop. Today's spill is all about embracing your inner geek.
HP Chromebook: My new obsession. I have done the unthinkable and switched from Apple to Android a few years back and I must say I love everything about my new world. This little baby is no exception. It packs quite a punch for something so teeny tiny and mirrors everything on my home computer so I have no need to carry my laptop with me every day.
Rodial Glamstick in Psycho: I know I keep raving about this but it literally never leaves my purse. It is definitely the best subtle punch of color for any complexion and can pack moisture into the most drenched lips.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black: Love this scent for on the go. It is a true musk and the rollerball (unlike a few others I've owned) never gets stuck.
The Cars Vinyl Cover Notebook: I got this on our recent trip to Elora and it's my little piece of sanity daily. I never rely on anything but hand written notes to keep me organized and the fact that this little book is made of recycled records is a huge bonus for an old-fashioned nerd such as myself.
Elizabeth Arden 8 hour Cream: Absolutely perfect for the winter season. This brings my dry lips and cracking nose back to life in an instant. It lasts forever by the way, I've had this bottle for almost a year.
Galaxy S5 Marble Cover: The down side of switching to Android is it's a bit more difficult to find cases for your gear so when I saw this perfect little case on Etsy I absolutely had to have it.
L'Occitane Brightening Touch: I prefer to carry this with me instead of a concealer since it brightens up my dark spots and provides buildable coverage. There is no creasing and it's full of ingredients that are actually good for your skin so no cakey residue.
Kate Spade Business Card Holder: Love this one! Great combo of gold and turquoise so it makes me feel like I'm on vacation when I hand out my cards. My next one from the line is the card holder with "Let's do lunch" on the front.
Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eyeshadow Duo in Naked Bronze: I got this as a gift and I use it almost daily. Great to build from a subtle look to a more evening smokey eye. Also a perfect little package to throw in your makeup bag.
It Cosmetics It's Your Beauty Palette: This palette has all of their top selling products; a highlighter, a bronzer, mattifying powder, and a blush. Basically your makeup drawer in a 4x4 container.
